Child Center of Pennsylvania Honors Brian Houchins with Community Recognition Award

The Child Center of Pennsylvania is proud to announce Brian Houchins of Mechanicsburg because the recipient of the 2023 Community Recognition Award. This prestigious award is offered yearly to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to bettering the lives of youngsters in our group.
Brian Houchins, a devoted elementary school trainer and neighborhood volunteer, has been an unwavering advocate for children’s training and welfare. Over the previous ten years, his efforts have significantly impacted the lives of countless youngsters in Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas. Houchins’ initiatives embrace establishing a free after-school tutoring program for underprivileged college students, weekend workshops specializing in literacy and numeracy skills for at-risk youth, and main a successful community-driven marketing campaign to improve native playgrounds, guaranteeing secure and inclusive play spaces for all kids.
